Microneedling and PRP

Skin needling or micro-needling has existed for several years, but new advancements have emerged. We use a powerful 36-pin microneedle system that activates cell regeneration to diminish wrinkles and scars. Results are visible after one treatment.

Microneedling

As we age, we begin to notice changes in our skin.

With our microneedling technique, we target specific areas of the skin to stimulate collagen growth. This stimulation greatly helps decrease fine lines and wrinkles, minimize pore size and acne scarring, and provides a smoother, fresh face as the skin repairs itself. Common treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, hands, and body.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a rejuvenating procedure that utilizes micro-fine, sterile needles to stimulate collagen production. The needles cause superficial and controlled skin puncturing to initiate a temporary inflammatory response, causing the skin to repair itself and stimulate collagen.

Microneedling is minimally invasive with little downtime and with limited side effects, making it a preferred alternative to more invasive procedures like laser resurfacing.

What Areas Can Microneedling Treat?

Microneedling can help improve the overall appearance of the skin. Some examples of the areas microneedling can help treat are body scars, acne scars, uneven skin tones, fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and loose skin.

During the treatment, nourishing peptides are delivered onto the skin to amplify results. A topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort, and low downtime is needed post-treatment. 3-6 treatments at 3-6 week intervals are recommended for optimal results.

Plasma-Rich-Platelet (PRP)

Everyone dreams of the perfect skin and completion — but oftentimes it’s more difficult than it may seem to achieve it.

PRP has been shown to be highly effective at reducing wrinkles, regenerating skin and even reversing hair loss. PRP can also address crepey skin, fine lines, dark circles, deep wrinkles, marionette lines, and more.

What is PRP?

PRP injections are a minimally invasive treatment that can help reverse visible signs of aging and skin damage. PRP is derived from the patient’s blood and contains a high concentration of platelets and growth factors. This treatment harnesses your body’s natural healing ability to facilitate collagen production and wound repair.

Your appointment begins with our service provider taking vials of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge, separating the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. Then, it will be strategically injected into the areas of concern. Your results will progress as collagen builds and cells regenerate in the weeks and months ahead.

PRP + Microneedling

Microneedling can be enhanced by using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) instead of the peptide serum used in traditional microneedling. PRP is obtained by drawing a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. PRP contains numerous growth factors, accelerating your body’s rejuvenation process.

Results vary based on several factors, including needle penetration, overall skin health, and number of treatments received. Patients will notice a youthful radiance and tightening of their skin following treatment, but we recommend 4-6 treatments four weeks apart to maintain collagen production and to optimize their skin rejuvenation.

Benefits of Microneedling and PRP

Microneedling and PRP is a rejuvenating cosmetic procedure

Microneedling and PRP are rejuvenating skin treatments that stimulate the body to produce collagen to improve skin tone & texture. Combining these two aesthetic services with minimal downtime and almost instant results brings each patient enhanced results.

Minimal Recovery Time

After your treatment, you will be swollen in the injected area, and some bruising may also be present. Swelling generally lasts 1-2 weeks and then gradually subsides. You will begin seeing results around 3 weeks, and fat will continue to dissolve over the course of 6-8 weeks.

Bundle Up

Microneedling and PRP can both be combined to enhance your results. These two services can be purchased as a bundle.

3-4 Sessions

Some patients only require a single treatment once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-4 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.
